Bohol's TRU Ubi

There are three POs who are involved in the production, processing and distribution, namely; Bohol Development, Corella Federated RIC, and Mayacabac Womens Association. 

This method of production is a product of an "Ubi Convergence" program that was the result of the combined efforts of national, (ATI, DOST, DTI), regional (CENVIARC),  provincial agricultural agencies, and NGOs  as well as technical assistance from Executive Advisers under the CIDA-CESO program funded by Canada. 

Now, that we directly buy from our farmers and pay them spot cash, the ubi farmers are encouraged in growing and expanding their ubi production.
